Tracktalk 1: Ministry: Just One Fix

I started out the day with this brutal industrial assault of a song on the way to work this morning. This song either invokes a grimace of disgust or violently headbanging at maximum volume. You enter into a thumping, swirling, psychotic trace from the intense throbbing drums and distorted horror-movie vocals. Its probably good that Ministry doesn't write songs as intense anymore. If you had more than Just One Fix you might get dangerously hooked.

Here is your fix.

Short/Long Form

Its really no surprise that the short and sweet punch of twitter is currently all the rage. Bits of information are all that the wired society can handle anymore. If it doesn't fit on the non-scrolling screen of a smart phone, it must not be worth reading. This burst of text is a non-committal way to keep up to date with the happenings of the world which you have chosen. This method of connectivity is the road sign equivalent of staying in the loop, quantity over quality.

I started twittering a few months ago and have restricted myself to only passing along new things I learned that day. Looking back, its been a nice collection of facts of anything I feel is worth passing along. Although it really gives no personal relevance to the general public, it serves as a reminder of all the new and relevant blips of new and interesting information that a 30-something can still learn in a day.

This blog will be the long-form of expression that I can't get across in 144 characters. Just the same, I will try to keep these posts limited in length. After all, if its worth saying, it should be concise and worth remembering.
